Hello family, today we introduce you to Theo Sánchez who signs the 93rd issue of the UEMA Series from Valencia.
Theo Sánchez is a music lover, that's all. Since he was a child, music has been, and is, his greatest passion and the result of this is his great musical background.
His first contacts with electronic music take us to his beloved Valencia in the mid 80's where EBM and New Beat, above all, marked his beginnings as a DJ, but also Rock, the most primitive German Techno and experimental sounds.
Theo Sánchez started in the world of mixing in the early 90s, very influenced by local DJs but always looking for his own identity in his sessions and without being anchored to any particular style, that and having worked in record shops (Alliance records) have made him have a collection of records of great level and very heterogeneous.
As a DJ, Theo Sánchez was a resident DJ at the Terra (Valencia) and Roma clubs (Puzol) and later joined the Minimalistik Girl collective, with whom he energised the Valencian nightlife for several seasons, putting on top-level parties in legendary clubs such as Barraca or Puzzle, or the Foc In Festival. After this stage, Theo joined Hypnotica Colectiva, a reference collective in the whole territory.
In short, Theo Sanchez is a tireless searcher of sounds, an activist that we respect so much in UEMA and a DJ capable of combining Techno, House, Electro, Breaks, IDM and whatever comes up giving great dynamism to his sessions, all with a very refined technique and a lot of coherence. In addition, Theo is a disseminator, and through his youtube channel, Bambatta Music_Radio, he offers us exquisite listenings of part of his collection.
For this trip Theo Sanchez has chosen to do an Electro set, a style in which he feels very comfortable and this is perceived when you listen to it.
