The WebExtensions API standard is accessible to all Web Developers: - Identical extension code that works on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge - APIs are stable across browser versions - APIs are developed and standardized by committee - First-class browser support for classes, async await, generators, destructuring, spreading and much more
