Actor Sigourney Weaver Tears Up Discussing Kamala Harris Campaign
Sigourney Weaver teared up when talking about her pride in Kamala Harris and her bid to become the first woman POTUS in history.
The legendary actor was taking questions at the Venice Film Festival when a reporter asked her about the ways her iconic 'Alien' character Ripley has become an icon for strong women on and off-screen.
'To think for one moment that my work would have anything to do with [Kamala Harris'] rise makes me very happy, actually, because it’s true,' Weaver said. 'I have so many women who come and thank me.'
