Hallo everyone (Zusammen),
In today's video, I'm talking about the type of mindset that you will need in order to move to Germany to live and work. Moving abroad is not an easy process, however you should not second guess your skills and abilities. Here are my top tips you can take today to get started with moving to Germany:
1. Make a plan and set a goal for yourself. When you do want to move to Germany by? How many jobs do you need to apply to daily? Figuring this out is key to helping to on track and motivated.
2. Don't listen to the opinions of others. You may have family and friends that are no supportive of you wanting to make the move. But, you have to try to not get affected by their opinions. You know what is best for your life and career. Don't get discouraged by what others are saying
3. Get inspired by others who have moved to Germany. Watching youtube videos, follow instagram accounts of people living in Germany/Berlin and join Facebook communities. This will help you stay inspired and motivated to keep going when things get tough
4. Prepare yourself mentally. Things will get difficult and there is a lot that you will have to learn. However, it will be worth it in the end.
