From version 5.6 all the way to 6.0, we’re getting a wave of unexpected banners, brand-new characters, major lore developments, and even a familiar dragon from the past becoming playable. But some of these changes? You won’t believe them.
Version 5.6 kicks things off with escoffier, the cryo support chef from Fontaine, and a surprise raiden shogun rerun in the first half. Then we’ve got navia and kinich closing the update in the second half — a lineup that no one saw coming.
But that’s just the beginning.
We’re heading straight into a full Mondstadt chapter in version 6.0, featuring a quest in dragonspine, a reunion with albedo, and a long-awaited meeting between wanderer and mini durin to fulfill an ancient promise. And yes, leaks suggest that durin will finally become a playable character, using a model similar in size to venti. A new era of storytelling begins — and it’s far more connected than we expected.
And right when we thought the Fontaine story was done, nid krai, the snezhnayan-linked region, is teasing something much bigger for the next chapter. Get ready. Teyvat is about to change forever.
