Forza Horizon 3 PC Crash Fix Updated
Disclaimer This Fix worked for me, and might not work for you.
DO ALL STEPS in video in order, dont skip any steps.
In this video I will show user's on there desktop pc's how to fix Forza Horizon 3. Remember after doing all these steps to leave a comment below if it helped or did not.
1. Reset Forza App Data Settings
2. Programs should not be open evga precision, OBS, Task Manager, Voice Programs
3. The Correct NVIDIA Driver (72.70) Not for everyone it has been reported that 372.70 mostly works for people with the 700 series gpu's, so download 372.70 and if it does not work for you try drivers 372.90 or 373.06
4. Reinstall Clean Drivers
5. Turn off Microphone Privacy Settings for Forza
Conflict with antivirus software causing the game not to progress past the Playground logo. Please try disabling or uninstalling your antivirus software.
Some players have reported that the title will not boot when the Windows automatic update service is disabled. Enabling the automatic update service will resolve this issue.
WARNING BACK TRACKING YOUR OS BUILD IS A LAST RESORT!!! Back tracking will make you miss important updates.
Here is the Windows Build you should be on if your not you will need to backtrack your build to the correct one
Version 1607, OS Build 14393.222 (14393.321 Might Work)
Hit the Windows Key + R
Type Winver in the run command text box and hit OK
Look at the dialog screen revealing the OS build and registration info
The version you should see is Version 1607, OS Build 14393.222.
