In Angular 9 Tutorial for Beginners. 16 - ngAfterViewInit video we will learn how early we can access template reference variables in Angular Application. These reference variables are populated by ngAfterViewInit() and we don't need to call this function, framework calls it automatically. In this video we will see that showing template reference variables in constructor level shows undefined in console. Then we will show these variables in ngAfterViewInit() and get in console proved that this is the earliest possible time to access those template reference variables. We will also learn an important point that we must not modify data in ngAfterViewInit() because it confuses the framework to show data accessed before view construction process or during view construction process so framework throw an error if we modify. Lastly we will learn that template query mechanism has local scope means that we can not query any element from child or parent. We only can query any element from the component itself.
