How to connect Daytime Running Lights without a relay - a diagram and a demonstration
I'll show you how to simply connect the daytime running lights, DRL, without any relays and control units on the circuit and on a demonstration - an experiment with gauges. For this connection DRL does not need any additional devices and unnecessary interference in the wiring of the car - it's simple and fast.
The principle of connecting the navigation lights was shown in the example of a battery from a screwdriver and a H1 main beam lamp of 55 watts, with the measurement of the current consumption and losses on the lamp.
Scheme, perhaps someone will seem a curve, but I'm not an artist or an electrician, alas, but I tried as best I could :)
Looking ahead, I will say that the lights are connected according to the scheme shown in the car, for more than 2 months, at the time of downloading the video, we have continuously worked more than 6 hours during the trip and nothing has happened to them - they are shining! The only addition that I forgot to mention in this video, but showed in the next is a fuse to + from the ignition, to protect the very ignition circuit of the car.
