Today, I made an LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) using AudioKit. There are a number of more precise ways to accomplish this, but they are difficult. The simple solution is to use a timer. Download the code and use it however you like!

You could also try updating the value based on a time stamp to get a more consistent curve. You could use a ramp function, or update the values every frame for smoother transitions. It's all up to you.

If you are using AppleSampler/AVAudioUnitSampler there are built in LFOs but they are generated per voice. It would be nice to have a global instance running and this example aims to do that.
