People are using AI to create digital versions of themselves that live on after they die. It’s part of a burgeoning industry focusing on “grief tech.”
ABC News met with Jason and Melissa Gowin, who have three kids. A few years ago they each had serious health scares, so they created a chatbot that could interact with their children if they both passed away. We also spoke to experts about the pros and cons of using generative AI in this way.
