Using Linear Regression Analysis for Extrapolation

This video summarizes an experiment performed to determine the mass of a sample of copper wire that could not be read using a decigram electronic balance. A data set is collected using longer pieces of wire that can be analyzed using linear regression. The trendline equation can be used to calculate the mass of the wire.
