Jakara Movement The 2020 Census is Ending Soon
The Jakara Movement with support from the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund and the California Census 2020 is proud to share an original Punjabi song by hit singer, Bhupinder Singh Babbal, titled "The 2020 Census is ending soon, let's not get left behind!"
From describing the importance of the 2020 Census to sharing the legal confidentiality requirements, the song is aimed at Punjabi-speaking Californians from Arvin to Live Oak, and all cities and locales in-between. The song is meant to generate excitement, pride of place, and importance of participation in the waning months of the 2020 Census. The song was released as the Jakara Movement pushes again to reach 100,000 Punjabi-speaking Californians via phone-banking one more time and in conjunction with the Punjabi-language hotline they are hosting.
