DAHSolar Balcony Kit review and benchmark - frameless solar panels for more performance
DAH Solar sent over their Balcony PV solar kit for review, and its performance does not disappoint.
These panels have a frameless design with third-cell packing allowing for up to 16% more usable panel area.
Benchmark results:
Performance measured (in early November) was comparable or even slightly better than a Full Cell panel with same Wattage, but in slightly overcast/cloudy weather the performance was about 10-15% better.
In low-light conditions the kit performed very well, due to the high output voltage and single circuit design.
(Note: take these numbers with a pinch of salt: this was my setup your performance might be different, also it was mid November)

Pros:
Frameless panel design, more useable area, dirt and snow don't stick to the edges
Small integrated micro inverter
Easy to set up and connect
Good performance in cloudy and low-light situations
Power-Line status monitoring, no need for a Wifi link to the inverter
Cons:
High panel circuit voltage (200V)
Only one solar circuit per inverter
