Comedian Rishi Budhrani credits one teacher for influencing the way he thinks and writes. Madam Aslindah Mohd Ali was his General Paper tutor at Tampines Junior College. She was an inspiration by being the exemplification of an eloquent, well-read critical thinker. He had not kept in touch since he graduated in 2002, but is constantly reminded that the skills she imparted have been invaluable for his career. He feels a tinge of guilt for not having thanked her in person and seizes the opportunity to do so in the best way he knows how.
