5 Montessori friendly Technologies that Helped ME as a New Parent!
Hi everyone! This video features a list of my 5 favorite types of Montessori-friendly "technologies" that I used during the pregnancy/newborn phase, and how I used them. They are some of the things that help me be a "prepared adult" (or try to, anyway!) which is one of the most important parts of the child's prepared environment.
They include:
1. Fitbit/Smart Watch
2. Smart Speaker (Google Home/Google Nest Mini)
3. Instant Pot
4. Free stuff & buy/sell/trade groups
6. Electric water kettle

Here are some other technologies that people use during the newborn phase that I did NOT use, and can't comment on:
Baby Monitors (our house is arranged with rooms close together and we roomshared with all of our children, so we never "needed" them, although they probably would have come in handy sometimes.)
Thermometer (we do have a simple digital one, but the new ones that take the temperature on the forehead look really cool.)
Oxygen Monitors (e.g. Owlet Smart Sock)
Weight Scale
Baby Food Maker (we just cooked and mashed food)
Smart Bassinet
Gliders with USB Ports
Electric Baby Swings
