KFE CE with Gateron Ink Blacks POM Plate Typing Sounds ASMR
One of the finest TKLs, the KFE CE. In this setup, it as paired with Gateron Ink Blacks lubed with Krytox 205G0 on a POM Plate. Stabilizers used are Durock V2s with the Holee mod. A very thin piece of foam is included in the box and it is used in this typing test.
This is my first time having Ink Blacks on my board and it is SMOOTH after a little bit of breaking in. I would say that this is smoother than my JWK Mauve switches. Pair this switch with the POM plate and you get one hell of a combo.
Moving on to the keyboard, I really dig the design. It is simple and timeless. The wrist rest that Monokei sells along with this keyboard goes really well with the board. It feels extremely solid and well built that I bought another one. This board is also optioned with the brass weights. To be honest, I was expecting a bit more heft from the weights. The weights are pretty slim, probably because this board is already really low profile, and thus doesn't add much to the total weight of the board.
This board also uses the plate from the TGR Jane V2 and the Hiney H88C which makes finding parts for it really easy.
