Switch to the Tools tab and choose the Change Background tool. With the green Object brush, paint over the person or the object you want to preserve in your photo. Then, mark the background you need to remove with the help of the red Background brush and hit Next.

Restore any details that were accidentally deleted with the Object brush, or remove any background leftovers using the Background brush. Then, click Next.
