This film tackles matters relevant to lines, bands, trapezoids, and certain other objects in Peru’s Nazca and Palpa areas. The term “geoglyphs” is not used here because the objects dealt with in the film could not be considered as those designed to be drawings. Neither these objects could be viewed as engineering constructions like foundations, roads, of direction indicators or signs. At the same time there are manifestations indicating that these objects are traces of processes, of which the source was at some distance above the soil.
