Aliens Dark Descent - Alien Queen Dead Hills boss fight
This Aliens Dark Descent game guide video shows how to kill the first Alien Queen in mission 1 - Dead Hills. This is the first proper boss fight of the game and the queen will have a separate health bar at the top of the screen.
The final part of mission 1 is about exploring the mineshaft. Make sure to eliminate all of the xenomorphs along the way, including a new Crusher. This will prevent them from joining the battle later on. Reach the bulkhead door and make sure your marines prepared - they should be fully healed, not stressed and with plenty of ammo.
Opening the door will show the cut-scene from meeting the queen. Set up the Sentry Gun as soon as it's ended and use Suppressive Fire to slow down the queen. Order your marines to fire while moving backwards. The queen may start a charge attack and run to the side if that happens. Don't fight her in the lair, because your teammates can easily get attacked by the Facehuggers. You can also use other offensive skills to deplete the queen's health bar quicker.
