Dirty Car Window Photoshop Tutorial! - This is probably the best and easiest way to make dirty car windows in Photoshop with stock brushes and no plugins. Of course, with different brushes you can get a better appearance, and make the dirt look more realistic. You could also use more colors and it would really make an improvement.
By cutting out the window area of your car, you can confirm what you will be coloring in is in fact your window. It will also allow a much easier shading to your window if you so happen to choose a dark outline of your window. By creating a new layer, and coloring it all in black or a mud color, and then removing it all from your window area simply by selecting your window area from the start, allows you to gently paint back the area you want of dirt by selecting different colors with your brush on your layer mask with the new layer that selects your window area/layer. After you finish marking all with your mud, you can then choose a color, and paint your black markings with that color making it seem like real mud, or just dirt specs depending on your choosing.
