Some believe that the art of victory is learned in defeat. But what does that mean? Simple answer: One should always remain patient, and trust the process, as some of the greatest victories you will ever achieve in life will arrive after your most painful experiences, inadvertently making victory infinitely sweeter and highly addictive. Furthermore, Victory will always be within reach for ANY person who refuses to stop fighting, as perseverance is victory's most essential ingredient.
Staten Island, New York's Mister Misk recruits crew member Pryme Prolifik (New Jersey) of their Hip-Hop collective, Invaders Of The Universe, and Long Island bar pusher, Coast LoCastro, for a winning collaboration and music video worthy of its title, "Victory". The three hungry wordsmiths take turns carving up the hyperactive Johhny Slash-produced soundscape, tattooing defeat on anyone thinking their victory will be shared. The music video, directed by Tyler Harrison of Thriving Era, captures the trio's unwillingness to lose while sharing the microphone and stage with many hip-hop juggernauts (Rah Digga, Shyheim, Diabolic, U.G. of Cella Dwellas, Block McCloud, Young Zee) at an Urban Arts Foundation event held in Morristown, New Jersey.
When discussing his new single and music video, Mister Misk explained, "Victory is found in unity, and we are going to invade everything.” Coast LoCastro and Pryme Prolifik added in unison, "Victory at all costs."
Mister Misk's "Victory" is OUT NOW and will be featured on his upcoming (currently untitled) EP via Invaders Of The Universe.
