Before You Buy an Intel Quick Sync CPU for Video Editing....
Are Intel chips still the best CPU for video editing? I bought the 14700k because it has Intel Quick Sync which I was told was great for editing videos, and to be honest, it has been quite underwhelming.
I have experienced first hand (with Apple) at just how good hardware video encoding and decoding can be. Heck all the people who build computer systems say Intel 12th gen + is the stuff to get... buuut based on my testing, Intel still feels quite behind Apple. There ARE areas which it is good and that's what I talk about in this video, because if you go into buying an Intel chip for video editing like I did, you might be in for a bad time.
Maybe I'm doing it all wrong (I don't think I am) but in this video I show how my results are very different from what I was told and what I had to do to get the kind of results I actually wanted.
