[Step 1: Open WhatsApp]
"So, the first thing you need to do is open your WhatsApp application. Once you’re in, head straight to the updates section—you’ll find it right here on the bottom bar. Now, with the latest update, WhatsApp has made some changes that altered the way statuses are displayed, making them look more like stories."
[Step 2: Unfollow Channels]
"To switch back to the old vertical status style, you need to unfollow all the channels you are currently following. Here’s how: just tap on any channel you’re following, then click on the three dots at the top right corner. You’ll see an option to 'Unfollow Channel.'
