Liev Schreiber's Family: Famous Half-Brother and 2 Sons
Isaac Liev Schreiber is an American actor of stage and screen, who was especially popular in end of 1990s. At the very beginning of an acting career, he played minor roles in different movies and later was featured in Hollywood cinema. He is best known for Kate & Leopold, The Painted Veil, and horror trilogies Scream. Additionally to that, his rare acting talent could be noticed in Broadway shows. In 2005, he was awarded with Tony Award.
Liev’s father, Tell was also an actor and in spite of having lots of things in common, they always had complicated relationship. It all began when Tell kidnapped his son, who was just three at that time from his mother, Heather. Eventually she won custody of her son. It took an actor many years to forgive the father.
The actor’s mom, Heather was raising Liev on her own. To do this, she had to work hard at two jobs as a painter and a cab driver. She is the biggest supporter to the son till nowadays.
Liev has a younger paternal half-brother, Pablo. He is a popular actor who met his brother only when he was 16. As a teen, Pablo had a dream of becoming a baseball star, however he hadn’t managed to make a team and therefore, decided to join the entertainment industry due to the father’s influence. He had been married for seven years to a yoga teacher Jessica Monty and became a father to two kids with her. Unfortunately, they divorced in 2014.
There are also 2 more paternal half-siblings: half-brother Will and half-sister whose name is unknown.
Max is Liev’s maternal half-brother. He lives in New York and is a father to two children.
Liev Schreiber has never been married but had a long-term partner, Naomi Watts. They had been together for 11 years and during this time produced two sons. Both actors found the solution not to abandon the children by acting in movies in turns. The two lovers were a great role-model for many in Hollywood. However, after a decade of a relationship, they decided to split up, remaining the best friends and wonderful co-parents.
Alexander is the couple’s first son, who was delivered in 2007. When he was born, both parents couldn’t feel any happier with Watts recommending motherhood to all women. Little Sasha as he is fondly called by parents is really into nature and zoology in particular.
The second son was welcomed to the world just a year later and is called Samuel. Liev was so happy again that he tattooed Alexander’s name on his right hand and Samuel’s on the left one.
