r/wallstreetbets may have a new member in its hall of fame or lore, the saga of u/jshbone12 who bought puts on failing bank First Republic (FRB Stock) in the wake of Silicon Valley Bank's collapse. Jshbone12 lost $60,000 in just a few days before tripling down just before First Republic Bank officially collapsed netting him a cool gain of $75,000 - but Jshbone12 was not done there, he wanted more, hanging on until First Republic shares were delisted in which now it was a fight against robinhood (HOOD stock) to get his crazy gains out of the robinhood options platform.
