This video explains the second method for selecting style and sound with a single button press on Korg PA series keyboards. Korg PA has several methods to select style tempo, variation selection and the sound with a single button press. This video shows one option using the style auto select feature using the style category buttons.

This needs the style auto select to be activated in Global - General controls - Interface page. Once activated, pressing the style category/bank buttons on the panel will auto select the last selected style in that bank. If nothing was selected in that bank before, the first style will be selected. To make it work like a play list, go to each bank and select a desired style so that it will be selected next time when the button is pressed. It can be done for the user and factory styles banks.

When the style is selected, the first keyboard set from the 4 KB sets on the style will be automatically selected. This will provide the sound selection as well along with the style. The tempo and selected element (variation/intro etc) which is saved on the style settings (Style performance) will also be selected. This will make transitioning between styles very easy while playing non stop songs.

This is an alternative to the registration memory in Korg.
