Many people believe that filming in higher resolutions like 4K or 8K automatically guarantees better video quality. While that may be true in some cases, Instagram's compression algorithms can sometimes diminish the benefits of higher resolutions. That's why we suggest filming in 4K or 8K (if your smartphone supports it) but editing your videos in 1080p. This way, you'll achieve the best results when it comes to uploading on Instagram. Also when uploading your Instagram Reel to Instagram make sure to enable "upload with the highest quality"
