The Evolution of PLASTIC MAN in Video Games (2010 - 2022)
With the news that Leslie Jones has been cast as Plastic Woman in the upcoming untitled DC adult animated comedy from Warner Bros. Animation, now seems like a good time to have a look back at every video game appearance made by the character the series is seemingly based on, Plastic Man!
Patrick "Eel" O'Brian was a small-time crook who became the stretchable superhero Plastic Man. He usually hid behind a smile and a joke but was a very powerful member of the Justice League of America.
Plastic Man's powers are derived from an accident in which his body was bathed in an unknown industrial chemical mixture that also entered into his bloodstream through a gunshot wound. This caused a body-wide mutagenic process that transformed his physiology. Eel exists in a fluid state, neither entirely liquid or solid. Plastic Man has complete control over his entire molecular structure. According to Batman, O'Brian is the only person on Earth who can stop Martian Manhunter.
