Violent protests sparked outside the Argentine Congress as the Senate debated the 'Ley de Bases' proposed by President Javier Milei. The bill is a controversial reform package which allows the reform of the State, the privatization of several state-owned companies, changes in labor and retirement legislation, and offers an economic incentive plan for large investments.
