I can't believe the day is finally here - Empire Total War is coming to iOS and Android mobile devices, meaning we'll soon be able to play this behemoth of a Total War game anywhere at any time! I've wanted to see how Feral Interactive would treat an Empire port to mobile for a long time, especially since their port of Medieval 2 to mobile devices was so good. I only hope they'll be able to add a few surprises in there in terms of features, and that they've been able to fix up the AI a bit as well, since those siege battles can be a slog when the AI just checks out.
But does the Empire for mobile devices signal even more on the horizon? It's clear Feral loves working on Total War games, and if there's something I'd love from Feral in the future, it would absolutely be a Medieval 2 Remastered, as well as an Empire Remastered. But what do you think? Can Total War Empire for iOS and Android be the best version of Empire, and the best strategy game on mobile platforms of all time?
