Inspired by old-school records from the 1990s, this sample pack is ideal for creating any style of Lo-fi beat, from Boom Bap to Hip Hop, Neo Soul to R&B.
Many of us are part of a generation that is now learning the benefits of analog. For years, we've praised digital's technical prowess and perfection. Now, we are finally starting to exploit the advantages of both.
As a kid, I would sit in front of the radio, waiting for the right moment to capture my favorite sound on tape. Discovering the TASCAM 424 MKI was like discovering that kid again.
This incredible 4-track analog cassette recorder inspired us to create a texture-based sample pack that you won't find anywhere else.
Thanks to the Tascam's Pitch Control Button, we have created multiple slowed versions of each original loop. Slower versions generate new bpm and textures. Every single loop is available at different tape speeds for maximum flexibility. Lastly, you can choose between the loop's clean version or its noisy version.
With higher bpm (60-66-75) than Vol. 1, this pack is ideal for mid-slow tempo productions. Since no reverb or delay is applied, the samples can be edited in any way you like.
To use, simply drag and drop the loop into your session. You can select between WAV and REX file types, and when using REX, the drum loop will match the tempo of your session.
Every sound file in the sample pack has metadata, which helps with sample organization software and speeds up the workflow.
