Make a Pie Pendant: A Silversmithing Tutorial
This video tutorial shows me making a pendant that features a rolling pin above a pie. The rolling pin spins, and the stone is some kind of iron stained quartz which looked like apple pie filling to me:) The materials I used were: 14 gauge sterling round wire, 18 gauge sterling sheet, 22 gauge sterling sheet, and 14 gauge square wire. I generally use exclusively hard silver solder, and I use My-T-Flux from Rio Grande. For this one I used Easy solder for the last soldering operation. I would rate this one as an intermediate project. This video is a bit longer, but is a detailed tutorial, so I think it is worth the watch time. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, as I've taught people for most of my life. This hobby turned into a fun side gig for me for years while I taught public school.
