The holiday commemorates the first human spaceflight, which took place on April 12, 1961, with Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin as the spacecraft pilot. Today, we’ll take a walk through a Moscow district named in his honor. The walk in Gagarinsky district will start near the metro station “Universitet” and at the end of the route we will reach the metro station “Leninsky Prospekt”.
