Meccatronica Lab 1: Rotor
The first climbing machine for indoor training was born in Trentino. A big rotating wheel, 5 meters in height and 3 tons in weight, where climbers can climb up the 12 meters of circumference. It's "Rotor" conceived by Climblock, a small enterprise based in Trentino. This innovative machine has been designed and produced at the Mechatronics Cluster in Trentino together with Tecs, an engineering company, and Bonfiglioli, a key player in the power transmission industry.
