A devastating fire at a primary school dormitory in central Kenya has resulted in the deaths of at least 17 pupils and injuries to several others. The blaze at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri County broke out late on Thursday. According to the police, the victims’ bodies are burnt beyond recognition, and more fatalities are feared. The injured pupils are receiving treatment in various hospitals for severe burns, with the average age of the victims reported to be nine.
