In this video I explore the 1951 UK General Election, which pitted Clement Attlee's Labour Party against Winston Churchill's Conservative Party for the third rime in row. The election is a turning point in British history because, following the election, Labour would be out of power for another 13 years, until the election of Harold Wilson in 1964.
