In September 2019, the Miraikan National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Japan hosted a talk session, "Imagination & Science: Imagining the future with AI."
Using the critically acclaimed game "Detroit: Become Human" as a starting point for discussion and theorisation, the speakers, David Cage (CEO of Quantic Dream,) Yoichiro Miyake (Lead AI Researcher, Square Enix,) and Dr. Hirotaka Osawa (Faculty of Engineering, Information and Systems, University of Tsukuba), share their thoughts about a future with artificial intelligence.
In the third episode, the speakers reflect on the kinds of relationships and interactions humans and artificial intelligence may have in the future. Using specific scenes from the game "Detroit: Become Human," the potential impacts of AI on our way of life are discussed at length.
