Meta Quest Depth API and Occlusion Shaders for Environment Occlusion in Mixed Reality
Hi XR Devs! In today’s video we will learn about another feature that is crucial for any mixed reality application, namely the the environment occlusion and how we can achieve this on our Meta Quest using Meta’s Depth API. We will first look at how to use different shaders to achieve this effect, for people that don’t own a Meta Quest 3. Then for Quest 3 users, we will install and use the Depth API for our occlusion!
