SIM800l Testing with Multimeter 5v DC | SIM800L Not Registering To Network
In this video, I am testing sim800l modules with with multimeter using 5v power supply. When sim800l connected to the network, then I test the voltages multi-meter and I find to know that voltages are between 4.6v - 4.8v. This is very strange. If you have issue like "Sim800L Not Registering To Network" or "Sim800l Power" then this video may be helpful to you. I am using capacitor (16v 470uf) connecting parallel to the sim800l.
According to the datasheet, it is not recommended to supply 5v dc to the sim800l gsm module. Let's see, I have connected 5v power supply directly to sim800l gsm module and test the voltages using multimeter around sim800l vcc and ground pin.
