The 2025 Porsche Taycan has more range, more power, and brings a higher price to the EV, attempting to fix issues that many were complaining about. Join me as I dive into the detail and take it for a drive!

The Porsche Taycan is still in its first generation and has been out for a couple years now. That means its time for a mid cycle refresh. Recently Porsche has tinkers with the traditional refresh concept, pushing the limits, and applying changes that would normally be reserved for a new generation.

But considering a downturn in sales and increased competition, Porsche has decided to make massive improvements to the Taycan by increasing the battery capacity and updating its looks. As a result, the refreshed Taycan has drastically improved range and horsepower figures. 31% increase in range and 22% in horsepower. Pretty impressive numbers for just a refresh.

Now all of these changes do come at a price. The entire 2025 Taycan lineup see’s an average price increase of roughly 8%. So do all the changes justify the increase in price? We’re going to find out in this video.
