Lawrence amid a vivid history of British colonial conflict. Anderson is a veteran war-correspondent and author of the novel Triage, the nonfiction book The Man Who Tried to Save the World: The Life and Mysterious Disappearance of Fred Cuny, and War Zones, written with his brother Jon Lee Anderson.
