20 Countries Left Until We Visit Every Country In The World
Did you know the country of "Dominica" is not pronounced similar to the country "Dominican Republic"?!! (I have been pronouncing it wrong this entire time. And now thanks to the Olympics probably a lot more people know how to pronounce it too!) Because of the Dominican Creole French spoken here, the locals pronounce the country "daa · muh · nee · kuh"
Now if you run into one of the 72,000 people who call Dominica home at least you can impress them. =)
On a personal update, we are sooooo happy! And just beyond thankful for this time cruising together and with Hud's mom. We love adventurous travel, getting to meet new people and learn about different cultures. But this is a great change of pace to just "vacation" instead of travel.
We were laughing how being on the cruise is a little different than last year when we were bussing through West and Central Africa! So thankful for both experiences! But right now I'm really thankful for this little break together.
