Climate litigation is an increasingly widespread form of climate activism - filing lawsuits against oil companies, governments, energy suppliers and more to seek damages for the effects of man-made climate change. But until 2015 almost all of these lawsuits have been unsuccessful, for reasons that my friend Devin, @LegalEagle, explains. However, a 2015 case may pave the way for more successes in the courtroom.
