The video displays on how to to Count and Sum Cells Based on Color. The approach to getting the operations done with this technique is to have a formula defined through Formula tab in the ribbon menu system. You go to define name and then manage the formula by giving it a special name. I used 'cellcolor' as my reference name in this video. Then you define your formula going to 'Refer to' panel down below and adding:
get.cell(38,[cell reference in the sheet which has a distinct color])
In here, 38 is the reference code for recognizing a given color, wherein lies the magic for our trick here.
This trick can help you segregate your values in a given data set which have distinct colors for their identification. I've used Countif and Sumif functions here to count and sum the distinct numbers based on colors but you can go on with tertiary level of operations in the distinct numbers post this segregation.
