Angkor Wat temple, a drive through town before a walk around the temple
Today we travel to the Angkor Wat temple via private car and were able to drive right to the temple wall. Angkor Wat was constructed as a Hindi temple but transformed in a Buddhist temple in the late 12 century. It stands on 400 acres surrounded by a moat, nearly six kilometres in length.
