If you work for a School and have a Basic account, Zoom is temporarily lifting the 40-minute time limit for the Basic accounts.
There are only 2 steps. Step 1 is to Sign up a free Basic account using your school’s email address. Click on ‘Here’ in the Step 1 to sign up.
In the second step you will need to fill in the information about your school. You can’t use personal email addresses, such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook. You have to use emails with your school’s domain. Click on Submit once you’re done.
The verification process can take up to 72 hours. You can log into Zoom through web browser, and you will see a notification there if the limit was lifted.
