Strongest Earthquake in Turkey / Survive in 120 Aftershocks
On February 6th, at 4 a.m. this area in south-eastern Türkiye was hit by a series of earthquakes. The most powerful one was a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that is now confirmed to be the deadliest quake of all time to ever hit the country. It took thousands of lives in a matter of seconds, leaving tens of thousands shelterless.
Dear People, the tragedy that struck Türkiye is a tragedy that we fully share and mourn: it took the lives of the loved ones of our friends from Cappadocia who also contributed to this report. We went to help them with the rescue efforts in order to tell the world their story.
