I continue the topic “Catalogues in ArchiCAD”. With their help you can make your work VERY much easier. Just imagine: Your task is to competently make the correct model, and the specifications are filled in automatically. If changes occur in the project, then all that is required of you is to correct the drawings and model, and the specifications (aka catalogs) themselves recalculate and update everything.
This time I’ll figure out how to automatically calculate coatings in your project. You no longer need to calculate areas manually in ArchiCAD; you just need to correctly build a model of your object in the program and apply coatings. Archikad will calculate everything himself. If you don’t know how to create coverage yourself, subscribe to the channel. I will go into detail about this in other videos.
And don’t throw away the calculator, because checking the correctness of the project gives us a sense of peace about it.
