By the end of this Unity tutorial, we will have created a smooth and consistent knockback that:
Works with Physics/Rigidbody2D Controller
Knocks back the player in ANY direction
Adds an (Optional) Constant Force
Takes Movement Input (Optional) into Account
Has Easy Acceleration Control using AnimationCurves
This is a GREAT knockback function that I created for our commercial game, Veil of Maia, and I wanted to share it with all of you.
I cover a lot here, so we're going to make this fast!
