We're adding just shy of 200 sq.ft. of passive solar greenhouse space to our home. Hoping to make it as much as possible with reclaimed, hand made and low embodied energy elements.
This video should be considered just an intro, or a teaser to the process. We plan on documenting thoroughly how this project evolves and certainly openly share any and all notes once it's up and running.
If it can provide additional heat to our home at certain times of winter that would be great, but the main goal is to be able to have a huge amount of fresh, nutrient rich greens available to us directly during winter and have a place to propagate and start important crops early in the season.
